You know how many types of PanelView screen?

Hi,

I'm just browsing thru the VIEW catalogs Feb 2003. Wondering there are actually many types of panelview screen.

Anyone here know what is the difference between them, or it's good if there is a site to compare them + definations:

1) Monochrome Transflective LCD with integral LED backlight
2) Monochrome Blue Mode Display
3) Color Active Matrix Thin Film Transistor (TFT)
4) Electroluminescent (EL)
5) Color CRT (SVGA)

Electroluminescent (EL) is categorize as emissive display, thue no back light for them. Possible to be repair if faulty? having this problem with one of the PV.
