Protool no integration in step7

Hy, I have the following softwares:
Protool V6.0 SP2 , Simatic Manager V5.4
In the protool software, I cannot check the Protool integration in Step 7 because it is greyed out.
What should I do?

Hi Kataeb,

if i remember correctly there is a setting just in the software i think if you start the protool software its in the FILE menu and says Integrate with S7 or something very similar

Dear Jdf, in ProTool Setup, the integration box does not appear (only the upper one).

Dear RobImb, in file menu, the "Integrate with S7" is greyed out and i cannot check it.

Hi kataeb, just a though did install S7 after ProTool? If so you may have to uninstall ProTool and then reinstall it.

i have uninstalled ProTool and then reinstall it several times without success.
could the versions of step 7 and protool be incompatible?

There is an option when you install the program that lets you select the Integration.

When I installed Step 7 and Protool on my new laptop, I did not select this option and it would not let me integrate the two programs. I had to uninstall Protool and reinstall it and make sure the select the Integration option during installation.

I had the same problem and solved by reinstalling Protool. when installing you must check Protool integration which is unchecked by default. The same solution as posted Tharon.

Also there may be problem with WinCC Flexible integration. You may try delesect Flexible integration and then reinstal Protool with integration checked.

Later you may change integration Protool or WinCC Flexible. But only one of them may be integrated.
