We are doing a smart switchboard project containing a dedicated PLC for generator control. Has anyone used a Crompton Integra 1630 (or similar Modbus TCP) meter with a micrologix 1100 communicating on the Ethernet port? The meter acts as a Modbus slave, so the 1100 would be the master. We are unsure whether the limited messaging capabilities of the uLogix ethernet can do this.
