Hi everyone, thanks for your help.
i have been able to start up the plant as i went online with the siemens S5 PLC using the siemens PG. On block status and variable status. checking and correcting faulty level switches, pressure switches, valves, xmitters etc.
Now i need to make a modification by way of adding a subtract function and changing a timer value, for example KT 600.0 to KT 300.2
My question is, can i do this changes online from the Editor menu without having any problem? for the timer can i just change this value directly from the timer block?
You know with AB-PLC after adding a new rung and some instructions one would normally test edit, then assemble edit b4 the new changes are recognise by the PLC. what would be the case with S5
