1761-net-aic

Grettings all.
I am having an issue with connecting the Rs 485 port on this AIC to an SLC 5/03 processor.I cant seem to get the connections right.I dont have the ready made cable from RJ 45 to the RS 485 port.Does anyone know what the pinout is (term to A, sheild to com,ground etc) that I may hookup this port?I know this is a no brainer but I am just in a brain block here.Please help.

The premade cables are part numbers 1761-CBL-AS03 and -AS09.

The pinouts are in the RA Knowledgebase as AID# 15986.




* pins 5&6 are jumpered together

** pins 1&2 are jumpered together

has anyone tried to connect a automation direct 8" hmi to the 1761-net-aic and then to a micrologix 1200 plc as i am inthe process of to do this any help will be greatfully recieved
