have a meeting about a project this afternoon and considering suggesting the new ab micro 1400 plc.
The ab software package I have is rslogix 500 version
8.10.00(cpr9)
The rslinx is rslinx lite 2.50.00.20

when I open the rslogix500 is shows a 1400 series A that could be selected for a new project.

Just upgraded my software not that long ago in order to be able to use the 1100.
Will i need to upgrade again? The reason I ask is that i think our maintenance agreement has expired.

Thanks

Your RSLogix 500 V8.10 is O.K. but RSLinx is up to 2.54, which I believe you will need for the ML1400. If you are only using RSLinx Lite, it is a free download, but it should have been included on the installation disk for RSLogix500. Is it possible you installed the V8.10 of Logix 500 but did not install the RSLinx Lite that came with it?

Thanks
I did only upgrade the 500 and not the rs linx, will do that tomorrow.
Agree with the maintenance agreement, but for now a spending freeze, the company just let 300 go last week, so going to try and slide it on a project.
