1756-IF16 Scaling Question

I have a 1756-IF16 analog card setup for “Float Data, Single Ended, No Alarm”. The device connected to the analog gives a 4-20ma signal which represents distance from 300mm to 4200mm. What I am trying to accomplish is a Scale Function and not sure what my Input Range(Resolution) would be. Would I be correct to say my “Input” is the raw value from the analog Card, “Input Min” is 12787, “Input Max” is 63937, “Scaled Min” is 300, “Scaled Max” is 4200.

Input @ 20.5ma = 65536

Input Max @ 20ma = 63937
Input Min @ 4ma = 12787
 
Input scaling for a 1756-IF16 module is done from the "Configuration" tab on the module properties dialog. For your application, choose the channel the input device will be connected to and set the following properties:
Input Range: 0 ma to 20 ma
High Signal: 20 ma
High Engineering: 4200
Low Signal: 4 ma
Low Engineering: 300
The value of the input tag for the configured channel will then have a range of 300-4200 for a 4-20 ma input.
 
Yes, assuming the input module is in slot 4 of the local rack.

The values are scaled outside of the given range as well, so an input of less than 4 ma will result in a scaled value less than 300. The same is true for an input above 20 ma. It's a linear scale.
 
I tied 1 Analog Output Channel to 1 Analog Input Channel. See picture Below. Question is I an enter a value of 20 in address "Local:6:O.Ch0Data" and the value of 375 shows up in "Local:4:I.Ch9Data" I would expect the value 1000. Am I looking at this properly?
