1761-net-aic

Hi Good people, i have a micrologix 1200 plc conected to a automation direct hmi which i want tohave the hmi & the laptop working at the same time, i have been told that to do this i have to have 2 aic the hmi=1 aic and the laptop tothe other one. is this right?

See page 24 for a 3 node... this also depends on the connection to the AD HMI

With the AIC method the protocol will have to be DH485. Does your HMI support that?
If the protocol is DF1 then maybe a port splitter will work for you.
