Dear plc professionals
As a novice in plc world.
I am looking over a predesigned industrial network consisting of 6 s7-400 CPUs each being connected to PROFIBUS lines I would be greatful if you can be helpful regarding further questions :
1 ) How many I/Os in a Profibus line will lead you to choose another cpu and the expensive Communication processorsfor an industrial network ? ( Another designation used less cpus on the field and worked with profibus as the main networking )
2 ) Regarding Simoreg drives and profibus can anybody give me more informations or direct me in to a link ( I am aware of the ad.Siemens.com )
