My old laptop had a pcm cia slot that I communciated with the AB slc504 plc. My new laptop does not have this slot. How do I communicate with the AB slc504? Is there an usb adapter I can purchase?

You will want the 1784-U2DHP, It will not talk to DH485 networks like the PCMK though...
