Redlion AB DF1 Slave

I saw that an older version of Redlion software/hardware had an AB DF1 slave driver:

Is this still available in Crimson2? I couldn't find it anywhere.

This driver is not currently available in Crimson 2.0. You may contact your local distributor to submit a driver request.

To be fair, this is a one-off application, so I can't promise any incremental revenue opportunities so I didn't bother to call my distributor. However, standard hardware here is AB PLCs and your HMIs... so who knows what possibilities that could bring. Your products make great data concentrators... this would just add another dimension to capability in system design.

Just curious: what led you to drop this (or any) driver?

Moving drivers from EDICT to Crimson 2.0 actually took a bit of work, so it was done on a priority list. Not sure why DF1 slave was so far down the list; I can only guess it was rarely used. Re adding it, I'll pass your comments on to the Product Manager. It's his call...
