I am using a 140ESI06210 card with a 140CPU43412A Quantum Cpu programmed with Unity Pro V3.1
When I'm sending a READ command to the ESI, I get the valid bit (bit 15 of Word 0 of the response) to be ON for about 300ms. In the litterature, it says to check Word 11 for module status. In my case, this status word says that the card is busy with no error. Then 300ms later, I get the data that I asked for with the READ command. I the documentation, it says to do nothing and just wait to get the data.
My problem is that I need to read at least every 50-60ms. I can't do this because of the 300ms of waiting that the ESI card is busy.
What is causing this delay? Is there any way of removing it?
