AB controllogix serial Comm Barcode Data

Hi, im new in AB contorllogix. may i know how to configure rslogix5k in order to get the string dumped by barcode reader? if i direct connect the serial Comm barcode to ControlLogix5555 serial comm, how should i configuration of MSG and its communication? thank you for viewing.:geek:
