Hi Gents,

Have any of you come across a good PLC version Control Software package. I have used Versionworks and MDT. I prefer Versionworks.

Do you know of similar packages you can recommend?

I installed and presided over AB's Factory Talk Asset Center software at my previous job. It seemed to work pretty well, allowing not only version control of PLC files, but basically any file, as well as performing network uploads and compares of PLC and HMI files to ensure that the "master" copy equalled the running version. It wasn't cheap, but it sure was nice. It also kept track of all changes, so if a change were found to be problematic, there was record of who made the change, from where, and when. Very good feature.
