WinCC Flex 2008 'edit locked' problem

I am in the middle of devloping some screens and have found that i cannot now edit object properties...

My PC and user levels are all the same but I cannot edit other projects either (object properties are greyed out in the menu bar)

It is the same for other older projects.

Any ideas?
 
weird... it is now working. Only thing i did was shutdown and have a beer for an hour. Maybe the beer fixed it

Now, the transfer option is missing from the file menu ??

I am beginning to lose my patience with WinCC

I have uninstalled/reinstlled and it has come back. Waste of 90 minutes but at least i can continue working
