i had a problem in communicating with PLC-1400,RS links is communicating with the 1400PLC but it is showing as a unknown device,i tried to install a EDS file also even though it is not showing a icon.
because of the that i could not able to connect a 1000+ pv during programming.

pl help to solve this issue
 
I'm making an assumption here that you are referring to the Micrologix 1400. If so, you will (i believe) need RSLogix500 ver 8.10...
