So I set up a produced tag, and set the maximum consumers to 4.
I only have two PLC's on the network that will consume the tag.
Will this be a problem? How so? Just curious.
 
No problem. The data only gets multicast once on to the network.

I think the "number of consumers" value is used behind the scenes in the configuration of multicast group sizes, so with a small system you won't have to worry about it.
