just kidding, that's a nice unit to play with.
I think all ML1000 devices use flash chips instead
of batteries so I cannot suggest simple way of
circumvneting the protection.
You can try to call AB Tech Support or use some of the
tutorials to crack the password.
Hope someone else will be able to help you more...
