Anybody ever try to 'decode' the Clock Registers in a Mitsubishi?

I know they are located at D9025, D9026, D9027, D9028.....

Each Register contains 'dual' items....

i.e. D9025 MSB contains Year, LSB contains Month.
i.e. D9026 MSB contains Day , LSB contains Hour.

...and so on....

but, if I try to WAND that info into a new register to separate it....it don't appear to operate as expected.....

I try... ---[WAND D9025 H0FF D1000]

but, D1000 does not contain the LSB of D9025.....????
and...the reverse.... ---[WAND D9025 H0FF00 D1002] does not contain the MSB of D9025....

any info?

Ugh.
