1761-net-eni to 1770-kf2

I am trying this connection

Laptop ===> ethernet ===> Neteni ===> DF1 ===> Kf2 ===> Dh+ ===> plc5

I don't see why this will not work but Ive been trying it in my spare time and do not have the NetEni showing anything under it under Rslink
The lights on the neteni show it is transmitting serial and the Kf2 works when plugged into the laptop

It just plain won't. The Net-ENI is made to encapsulate DF1 Full Duplex only for Nodes 0 and 1. It doesn't put the remote target address into browse packets so that the KF2 can use it on DH+.

I've tried this too, because gosh, all the protocol labels look right ! But it won't do what you want, bridging DH+ to Ethernet.

The best route between DH+ and EtherNet/IP is a 1756 chassis with 1756-DHRIO and 1756-ENBT modules in it.
