Hallo sir,
Can some help me regarding following doublts?
I have one rs-232 ppi multimaster cable of s7-200 plc.On PC side on RS-232 D type connector(which is shielded) is damaged.Pins are disconnected from the D-type connector.Now I am not able to connect.There are 03 pairs of cable comes from PPI adapter towards PC comport side.Those colors of the cables are..red+whie;green+yellow;brown+black;
Now please tell me which colors will be connected to which pin no. of the D type connector? And tell me also the dip switch position of the ppi adapter.I am using programming software as microwin/32 version 4.0.
Some one please guide me.At least corresponding pin number of RS-485 (PLC)side and rs-232 (pc) com port side. Thanks.

Hi, i hope i can help a little.
The dip switches are 2 and 5 off 1,3,4,6,7 and 8 are on.
I have tried to measure the cable but that was not posible but i find information on the internet. If that dosn't work this is the link to the website:

A conversion from female to male, and a conversion from 9-pin to 25-pin is required for modems.

2 Pins 4 and 6 are connected internally.

I hope you can fix it now
