What are we doing?

I need some help with a PLC.....soaking up as much of this PLC info as I can!! You any good with the Easy 512 AC-RC PLC by Moeller? I got a program just need to finish it..... Pulling my hair out!!

Just finished mowing the lawns but then its just coming up to 7 pm on a fine saturday afternoon

I bought a moller easy 512 plc, in hopes of using it to be able to automate 3 pumps. Problem is how do I "program" this plc to do what I want, "very basic ladder schmatic" such as: I have 3 pumps, I want 3 conditions to be met before pump#1 starts: a.)LSS: low suction shutdown b.)HS: high system c.)LS: low system then pump#1 comes online @75psi w delay timer of 5 sec then a minimum run timer of 5minutes, now if pump#1 senses a pressure drops to 70psi pump#2 kicks on with 5 sec delay and minimum run time of 2 1/2 min, if pump#2 drops to 65psi then pump#3 kicks on with 5 sec dealy and minimum run time of 1 1/2 minutes.

I realize that I only have 4 outputs with this relay so I can scratch the indicators and just use a fault message with the plc. just need help with that too....uggggg....

I like to all of my fault logic or alarm logic to be in the high state logical 1 at least 50% of the time.

OK you have the basics down. Use a normally open contact 3 in a row. 1 for suction, 1 for High, & 1 for Low , then an timer to start M1.

Play with that. You see how it will be effected or start out with 1 Normal Open and 1 Output. Keep thing simple as you start learning.

How many Input do you have? You said 4 out so I will ASSuME that you have 6 and hopefully 8. You said you have 3 Input now you will have to use an Analog pressure transmitter or 3 more ins for yoyu psi set points

It is now 4:11am I can not sleep so I figured I would jump on the net to see if anything new is happening, I think I will go get my coffee now and check the rest of my emails

Nice Saturday morning here. Weather warmish with occasional showers. Having coffee and just checked in to see if anything new has come up. Otherwise, not much going on.
