No. The round port on your SLC5/04 is a DH+ port.
Use the serial port. You need a null-modem cable, pick one up at Radio Shack or Best Buy. The AB part no. is 1747-CP3 ( see pdf below) All you really need is pins 2,3 and 5.
You can use the DH+ port but you will have to have extra stuff $$ to do so, see link below
