Incorrect PLC answer

Hello everyone...
I have one problem with S5-135U. I want to connect to PLC with IBH Softec v5.06. "Incorrect PLC answer!" warning appears on the PC screen. Maybe its cable fault? I made it on basis of scheme RS2TTY.gif http://www.elektroda.pl/rtvforum/viewtopic.php?p=285866#285866

If your CPU has a 2nd port...try that, the one further in.

A serial-to-TTY cable costs only 69 €.
Why waste your time with a do-it-yourself kit ?

You then better like cleaning up too.
No kiddin'. The cable you can buy is guaranteed to work. If it doesn't you get a replacement. With a home-built cable the cost is way higher if you count the time needed to solve the problems.

Check out EBAY

The error you are getting is often a cause of one sided comms or comms error - check cable.
