Simple question but I haven't been able to get a satisfactory answer. Are there communications adapters that will allow 1769 I/O to be hung on to Ethernet I/P, ControlNet, etc... I think I found a DeviceNet one but not the others. Links or part numbers would be helpful.

1768

U can use 1768 - ENBT - CNB and SDN for all those networks, along with 1769 IO - I am not sure if you need a processor or not though.

The only network adapter for the 1769 I/O platform is the 1769-ADN DeviceNet adapter.

You cannot use a 1768-ENBT or 1768-CNB module as a network adapter for 1769-series I/O; those modules are only for use with 1768-L43 and 1768-L45 CompactLogix controllers.
