I was backing up a program on a machine the other day, its a c200hg omron cpu 43. The problem I having is I can save it to my PC but when I tried to load it back on the CPU it starts loading and then a message comes up that says (UM error) any help would be helpfull, I have the Omron manual but no section on backing up a program.

First thought is to check if the Memory Protect dip switch is set to the Memory Protect setting. Dip Switch 1 ON = Memory Protected, OFF = peripheral device can overwrite memory.

Hope this will help.
