Did GE win or lose this D-I-V-O-R-C-E?

When I worked for GE, the joke was "The only thing that GE makes that doesn't suck is a vacuum.

I like GE's PLC software, Proficy. I think the hardware is great stuff. Unfortunately I don't get to use it much because their PLC pricing is not very good. I mean even compared to Allen-Bradley its not good! I don't understand what they are doing here. It's a shame.
