hi, im relatively new to plc's but fairly good with micrologix and SLC500 and i am looking to put a test rig together for home use with a 1500LRP, NET-ENI and hirschmann switch, and then in a second panel install a compactlogix w/ethernet, 1 bank of 2 flex I/O's and devicenet card and sensors/actuators on D/Net, PF4 with a 22-XCOMM-DC-BASE and ethernet card to remove the need for a PF40 and daisey chain 4 more PF4 also wire up a series of light towers, relays, solenoids, pilz etc etc to each PLC to practice using comms to control and monitor
i have rslogix 500 and 5000, rslinx etc but do not have rsnetworkx etherneti/p i have installed without the key as it is from work and does say that it will run in demo mode allowing 3 devices connected to the network. i also have devicenet.
i am wanting to move from a maintenance engineer to a plc's based role, i have been down to rockwell UK on a 5day SLC500 programming course but i wondered what other such coarses or areas i should look to cover to put me in good sted to go into that such field. or anyone that has any good PDF files for AB to educate me in comms etc
