I must admit it has been some time since my college days and I really haven't retained much since then. I am looking for some assistance with connecting a BCD thumbwheel to a MicroLogix 1200. Can this be done with a discrete input module or do I need to do something special with the signal from the thumbwheel?

I am thinking that all I need is 4 discrete inputs per digit but like I said it has been a long time since I have worked with one of these thumbwheels.
