I am currently working on GEM PLC's. These PLC's
need to be on an Ethernet network, to communicate with iFIX SCADA.
There are 3 GEM's like this. So I was thinking of these 3 GEM's communicating
on serial to another main PLC (sitting on the network)...
But these GEM80/163's have no spare serial ports. They have the following
rack configuration: (SEE ATTACHMENT)
(Kindly ignore the GEM80/165: Cooling Towers)
Is it possible to actually fit in a serial comms module into this rack???
