how to communicate???

i m monitoring a plant using S7-200 with cpu 212.
there is only one port on the PLC which is a programming cable which is PC\PPI.
then how can i monitor the plant using CITECT???

By using the PPI protocol for the communication. The driver is called SIMPPI. I don't know what version of Citect you're using, maybe you'll have to download the driver from the Citect website. I had to do it for version 5.21.

Of course, if you want to use the programming software, then you have to shutdown Citect. Only one port means only one software to use at the time .
