SIEMENS S314C2DP, STOP when go Online with PC

I have a siemens 314c 2dp cpu and some profibus slaves. When I try to go online with PC, CPU goes in STOP. I tried to go onLine via Profibus and via Ethernet but each time CPU goes in STOP modality... In diagnostic I see that STOP is due to access erron on peripheric...

Hi Italo,

as a remedy you can download the OB122 to prevent CPU from stopping. But the reason for your problems is that you lose connection to some of the profibus slaves.

Do you have a separate ethernet module on your rack when you say that you tried to connect also with ethernet?

Does the CPU stay on when you download OB122?

What does the diagnostic buffer say then? I mean does the IO access error go away after a short time?

I found the solution: I hadn't switched on the terminal resistence of the first profibus slave..... thanks
