I have searched and searched but I cannot find an answer to this question. Can an input file be used as the file reference using a MicroLogix processor?

I'm not sure I'm phrasing this correctly. This is what the MicroLogix manual says: File is the address of the sequencer file. Make sure to use the file indicator (#). This file stores the reference data for monitoring inputs. I have tried to use an input file but it will not accept the "#" indicator.

Hope it is clear about what I am asking. Thanks.

Short answer is yes. Post your .RSS file with the error (zip it first). It should accept the "#".

When you say it won't accept what error do you get?

Which ML are you using?

Mickey,

Thanks, but I have figured it out. Well, I don't really have it figured out but it is now working. I must have been doing something wrong when entering the address but danged if I know what it was.

Again, thank you.
