FX1s and Encoder

Hi All,
I'm new in encoder and I'm using Fx1s PLC.
I'm planning to use both A/B phase.
How can I write the program and which input should I connect for each counter?

what is the purpose of M8251~M8255?

In Mitsubishi, when you create a coil of high-speed counter, the counter number defines the counter type and the PLC inputs to be used for this counter.
For everything else, see the Devices in Detail section of the FX Series Programming Manual II.

X0 to X7 are high speed inputs, you just use m8000 (allways on Bit) then the high speed counter
C235 to 240 are 1 phase user reset type
