Hello,

I need to measure the current(0-30A) from a 24V DC powersuply and read it in a 0-10V AI on my PLC. It would be neat to use a unit that is like a clamp meter. But maybe there are better ways. Any suggestions?

I am also to read the voltage (0-26V) from the supply to a 0-10V AI. I could of course use voltage dividing via two resistors but something integrated with the current measurement as one unit would really be nice. Any suggestions?

For DC current you can't use a donut style current transformer but Ohio Semitronics does have hall effect sensors which look like a CT donut.

edit: oops, just saw where you were from. Oh well, OSI also sells some European made sensors so go ahead and take a look, it might point you in a direction.

phoenix contact has what you need.

Have you ruled out using a simple shunt resistor?
Something like 0.01 Ohms to give 10 mV per amp.
Last time I looked proper shunt resistors were still available.
If you just need a rough number try measuring mV drop across a couple of feet of #12 wire.
Hall effect sensors will work of course, just offering another option.
