cant seem to get the v1000 to accept the freq ref im sending it, the node identification is good and the config is good, the reference/operation booklet for the profibus expansion card for the v1000 is a bit...cryptic at best, any suggestions on application notes using the yaskawa profibus with a siemens 505/545 plc's?

Check that the parameter you are writing to drive in the can be changed on the run (parameter attributes). I know the F7 series had a problem changing the PID setpoint while the drive was enabled.
