Can anyone help, I would like to know if it's possible to communicate and send messages between a Micrologix 1400 and a PLC 5/30B. The PLC 5/30 is on a DH+ network and goes to a 1756 DHRIO/D at slot 1, slot 0 is a 1756-ENBT/A and slot 2 ia s 1756-L61.
So because I and see the PLC 5/30 at node 12 from my computer via Ethernet through the bridge, can I have the Micrologix connected to the ethernet network and send messages to the PLC 5/30 through the same bridge. We are using RSLinx Classic Gateway 2.55.00.16 CPR9 if that's any help.
I know I can use the 1756-L61 to read from the Micro 1400 and write to the PLC 5/30 which I have done. I was wondering if I could go directly from the 1400 to the 5/30.
