I have a job and I need to connect remotely to a ControlLogix Processor using a (1756-ENB/T). Problem is there are no methods for me to connect to the internet other then a cell phone(iphone). Is there some device such as a Cellular Router I can connect my Cell Phone to connect to the internet? Once I have my phone connected and the PLC connected I can setup a VPN connection. Thanks For your response.

It's a bit unclear - which end of the connection doesn't have an internet connection?

Assuming the PLC is already connected to the internet, do you have RSLinx & RSLogix 5000 running on a computer at the remote site? Neither application will run on an iPhone.

If you do have a remote PC, you might find a remote desktop app for the iPhone.

If the PLC lacks an internet connection, it's easy to connect using a GSM modem. Might be expensive, though!

My Office computer has RSLogix5000 with RS Linx Pro installed and has a internet connection. I have to connect to a PLC out in the field(Oil Well) and is there is nothing around for 30 KMS. The only way you can get conected to the internet is a celluar phone(One of the workers on site has a cell phone). If i could somehow connect this PLC to the internet I can set up a VPN connection.
