Hello everyone,

I need to transfer ascii barcode data from one Mits PLC to another.

Whats the best way to do this? Ethernet...Melsecnet???

Thanks,

Jeremy

Ascii is usually adequate and most commonly used on most PLC platforms, Particularly with barcode applications. I know Mitshibushi can handle it but not familiar with particulars with that platform.

What PLC's are to be connected, CPU-type?
Do you have any communicationscard installed already?
How many data do you have to exchange?
If both PLC are Mitsu ex.Q-system, you could use CC-Link it is a cheap and easy to setup.

Best regards
Dariusch!

we need to transfer from a Q to an A. These systems already have cclind cards. we can use cclink to tranfer data??

You can set up the data-area to read/write in the
Parameter -> Network-Parameter ->se pic
It is almost the same with GX-IEC
