Hi Guys,

I have a compact logix and ultra 3000 communicating over sercos.

I am driving a linear actuator with forces of +6 Tonnes.

What I'm trying to do is get a current reading for the drive during the movement of the actuator.

Does anyone know how I would do this?

I am also trying to read the Current from an Ultra 3000 drive. I have a 1756-L62 ControlLogix5562 Controller. Does anyone know how to get the Current out of this drive?

From manual:
"The Ultra3000 includes a single analog output (not supported on the
SERCOS models) that can be configured through software to represent
drive variables".
I assume you would configure it with UltraWare.
Not sure what to do if you have SERCOS.

Unfortunately, I am running on SERCOS. I may need to come up with another method, perhaps using the torque feedback somehow...
