Dear folks,

I'm still in the data assignment for about 24 S7-200 slaves (connected using 25 EM277). connected to a S7-215 2DP master.
My question is I want to read/write 32 bytes for each slave, can I go beyond the I/0 126 ? i.e can I use I/O 500 for one slave then use SFC 14 & SFC 15 to transfer the data of each slave to a dedicated DB?

Best regards
Hagos

Yes, SFC14 and SFC15 are the blocks to use when you have i/o that is not inside the "proces image" of the CPU.

Check also the total addressable peripheral i/o range. The current generation S7-315 can address up to 2048 input bytes, and 2048 output bytes.
