Im151-8+High Speed Counter

Hello everybody

I have application which need HSC.
I use IM151-8 CPU.
I Use also 6ES7-138-4DA04-0AB0.Counter module.
I looking for sample how to do it.
I have sensor which send pulses to the card.I have software reset.
I do my math in my ladder.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks for your reply.

I have this manual but its not so clear for me.Since my knowledge with Siemens is limited.
I searched Siemens web site without success.
There is sample in STL which is not so clear to me.
Its 3 rungs on page 21.
If you can help me to translate it to ladder I will try it.
What is PAW.PAD.PED.
PAW is like PIW?

It is because the STL code is originally german.
So A is for Ausgang=output, and E is for Eingang=Input.
PAW is same as PQW.
PAD is same as PQD.
PED is same as PID.
