Here is list of items which i or we use in a PLC system generally or often.


  • Power Supply
  • Processor
  • Redundancy Module
  • Redundancy Adapter
  • I/O (Digital and Analog) Modules
  • Scanner Module
  • Controlnet Bridge Module
  • Ethernet Bridge Module
  • OPC gateway - OPC 2.0
Can anybody help me out of the use of

  • Redundancy Adapter
  • Bridge Module
  • OPC gateway .
In terms of Electrical Connections /Circuit/ or how it works (in brief)? I know usage of these item totally depends upon type of System configuration opted but still any design could help me out understanding the concept.
