Installing a IR T/C onto a DeviceNet Flex IO drop. Card is a thermocouple card 1794-IT8/A. According to the manufacturer, I'm getting leakage current into the card and it is throwing off my reading.

Testing
1. Hooked regular T/C to point - Reads fine. @ 140 Degrees
2. Hooked IR T/C to point - Reads 312 Degrees
3. Hooked regular T/C into test unit we have - Reads fine 80 degrees
4. Hooked IR T/C into tester - Reads find 80 degrees.
5. Switched channels with a known working T/C - Same result as #1 and #2

I can not find anyway to zero out the card based on the companies installation instructions. How do I kill off the leakage current? Will a pull down resistor do the trick?
