Step 7 Standard Libraries stuck in German?

So I was trying to figure out how to do scaling on an analog input value using Step 7. I'm used to using the SCP instruction in RSLogix 500. I read about the Standard Libraries, and using FC105 to scale a value.

So I put FC105 into my program (had to rename to FC180). And the inputs/ouputs on the block don't match what I have read. There is no In, Hi_Lim, Lo_Lim, etc.

It looks like the attached picture.

The copy of the offline file I have was original written using a German version of Step 7. I have since modified it in English, and all the settings of my Step 7 program are set to English.

I don't know much (any...) German, I don't know what BG, KNKD, OGR, UGR, XA, BU, _FB mean. I'm assuming OGR and UGR are Hi and Low limits. BG and BU are Input and Output? The rest I can't even guess.

Since its a block from the library, have you tried 'highlighting' it and pressing F1 ?

I did not know I could do that. Thanks.

I tried searching the Help contents for Standard Libaries, and for FC105 or 105 specifically and didn't get anything of detail. I searched through the properties of the FC itself hoping to find something, and again nothing.

Well, thanks again.

Yes, it seems I also grabbed the wrong FC105. I started at the top of the library list looking for it and grabbed the first one I saw, which was in the S5/S7 Convert.

Seems that the one I grabbed was one for gathering analog data from S5 Analog cards, not for scaling values.

Live and Learn I guess.

(Grabbing the right FC105, and it had the correct I/O that was expected from the info I read online).
