PLC 5 PV1400e Block Transfers

I have to make some changes to an existing older system that has a PLC5 and a PanelView 1400e that communicates via RIO. I need to figure out how the block transfers work to transfer the info from and to the PanelView. Can anybody point me in the right direction where I can find information?
