Why is this the case?

"The Red Lion G3 HMI's and Modular controllers can only be the TCP/IP slaves to devices not the master, so be sure to specify Modbus TCP/IP."

Hello,

In most cases the G3 and/or Modular Controller will actually be the master on TCP/IP. May I ask where this sentence you posted came from?
