Step 7 Related PRoblem

Hi Everybody,

i have my new plc program in a zip format.
when trying to retrive the file in siemens step 7 project, am getting the error message as shown in attachment.
could you pls help me with a solution to open the project.

Have you extracted the project from the zip file using a program like WinZIP or WinRAR?

i have retrived the PLC program from simatic manager

I think the question meant: Was the zip archive made with step7 or a zip program??

thanks for your answer...
i got the clue from your reply.
the program was not archived from step-7, it was zipped using winzip.
now got the solution.
