S5 DI DO Card Address

Digital input card

000001 = start add. 4
000010 = start add. 8
000011 = start add. 12
000100 = start add. 16
000110 = start add. 24

Digital Output card

000001 = start add. 4
000010 = start add 8
000011 = start add. 12
000110 = start add. 24
001100 = start add. 48 - is this correct or have you written it wong???

in my s5 program i have no DB1....
and my plc shows qvz and basp error
and stop light is blinking cpu928b 135u/155u

Please See my DB1 I/O assignment in online......

digital input?
digital output?
ipc flag input?
ipt flag output?
timer field length?

If I remember correctly DB1 was "optional" for single processor mode and mandatory in multi processor mode.
Do you have multiprocessor mode in your system?
If you have single processor mode then you do not need to program DB1.

i have single processor mode

Then you do not need DB1.

If DB1 is programmed in single processor mode - it will reduce cycle time since only the inputs, outputs, timers etc, programmed in DB1 are updated.
DB1 must be used for Multiprocessor mode or when IPC flags exist with CP's
