Siemens PG 631 programmer into S5 130K PLC

I am still trying to download programme from PLC to PG 631 unit with no success, I have tried in PLC run mode & stop mode no joy.The manual seems to suggest every time I want to try say mode 30 mode 21 has to be input first but that results in error cable, deleted by pressing 1 then fault 10 appears saying not allowed in this mode.Has anyone got one of these units that work who could help me.

Pretty old gadgets, a memory callenge...
Most common error is wrong type of cable, or the cable ends are switched. What kind of PG interface is in the ZG? 6es5511x?

Forget my question, the AS511 card was made after the bronze ages, your AS501 presumably before.
My first PLC project, a thousand years ago, was a S5110A / PG631. I think the prog. cable was a parallell version, and the program could be test-run in the PLC via the RAM in the PG. The 130K seem to be of the same type.
I indeed hope you consider to take this ancient PLC in a boat and row it into deep water and sink it silently there.
